Didnt go but listened. Sounded like charlton were lucky against us for the second time this season. Did we not have our shooting boots on? Final ball sounded lacking. Should our goal have beendisallowed? Comments from eyewitnesses please. Still in a strong position lads, UTB.

Looking at a positive, if, as it seemed, the ref was always going to 'level' it up, personally I would rather lose BT for three than Ched or Cressy.

They will be absolutely delighted. We looked the home side most of the match, played some good stuff.

They time wasted, dived, feined injury and were generally a pain in the arse in creating stoppages. Looked fairly solid, but nothing special.

The build up to the goal came from a throw in that clearly should have been ours, then a very weak free kick which was right in the top corner.

I understand that Beatties red was apparently for grabbing an opponent, but came as a surprise to the majority of the ground.

Our "goal" was at the opposite end, but we were perplexed as to what was given, the keeper just spilled the ball goalwards.

If thats the best in the league at home, we should have no worries.

Cheers Foxy, have a safe journey home, if a somewhat long one. I know I owe you £25 and yes I am leaving he country. Let me know if you want it dropping off.

Ha ha.

Danny Wilson said he was coming to the aid of Lowton who was being assaulted but as he grabbed him round the neck they wont be appealing. The melee looked a complete free for all so I am not sure how Beattie got singled out except for the neck point
I was a bit shocked at how lardy Beattie looked today. If Ched goes I hope he isnt our main hope.
We were the better side today but it reminded me of the Carlisle game - we didnt take our chances but had all the possession attack and general flair.
Thought Charlton were tidy and well organised but dull.
We need to be more clinical in the final third as Danny has said before and there was a Danny chant today which was grand.
I was less than impressed with " Ched can rape my mother" Morons

The Charlton lad was trying to rip Lowton's shirt off his back. Beattie's reaction was clearly over the top, but, in the heat of it i can see why he intervened.

Presumably that will be a three-match ban, so he won't be eligible to play until the middle of February.

I hope we haven't already signed him.

Despite his sending off, i'm sure we'll extend Beattie's contract to the end of the season.
All this will do is speed up Wilson's search for another striker in this transfer window.
