You said the same about Souza so welcome GustavoWe won't get him
Just one more little teaser for you.
Gus Hamer hasn't travelled with the Sky blues squad for the game v Wimbledon tonight.
Very unusual not to travel even if not going to play!

Sheffield United eye £15m-rated Coventry starlet Gustavo Hamer
Hamer scored 11 times in 44 appearances during the 2022-23 campaign for Mark Robins' side, and has become a much-loved member of the squad since his move from Dutch side PEC Zwolle in 2020.www.dailymail.co.uk
Genuinely expected to come back to this thread with you posting screenshots from the Coventry forum with "Got em lads! They fell for it!"Sorry about that, it was just what I was told by a usually credible source
Hamer is starting for Cov tonight in the cup
Attending in person so will have a word with him
Yeah but Hamer defo has more skill than Fleck ever did. I really hope we get this guy. Liked him all last season.Halftime here at Plough Lane.
He’s been the best player on pitch (although against league 2 opposition), reminds me a lot of a prime fleck. Drives with the ball, moves it forward quick and always available when attacking the final third.
Also like the look of Wimbledon’s N10 Al-Hamadi, talented forward with skill and pace. Would likely get playing time here with our current lack of forward options
Probably on his way up nowYeah but Hamer defo has more skill than Fleck ever did. I really hope we get this guy. Liked him all last season.
No problem.Sorry about that, it was just what I was told by a usually credible source
Cov only had themselves to blame, continued to play well when he came off but just couldn't put the ball in the net. Haji Wright who they signed for 7m was woeful, couldn't hit a barn door (they will mis Gyokeres this season). Then Wimbledon scored out of nowhere and then did it again two mins later, was brilliant entertainment.Twice in a row Robins has took Hamer off 1-0 up and theyve ending up losing the game..
You're on the fence then?BUY

NOW
I'd expect 5 to 10 for jebboHaving to settle for one of Hamer or Akpom doesn't really sit right
Is there any reason we shouldn't be able to do this;
Hamer - 13m
Smallbone - 8m
OBrien - 7m
Akpom - 10m
(and 2 loans)
(plus Trusty, Traore, Souza & Slimane - 20m)
- Total of 58m
Having sold
Ndiaye - 17m
Berge - 12m
And hopefully Jebbison for at least 3m
Net spend of 26m in this case. Is that really unreasonable to expect?
Is he going to jail, or is that the time we'll normally bring him on for evening games?I'd expect 5 to 10 for jebbo
Somebody check the media teams tweets first lettersBUY

They need a striker ,we need Hamer, offer them McBurnie +£3mCov only had themselves to blame, continued to play well when he came off but just couldn't put the ball in the net. But Hamer was stand out, played as the deeper of the three in midfield but joined in when they pinned back Wimbledon in the final third. He had about three efforts from distance when on the pitch (not seen that many by a united player in one game), all three close. Alnd took all covs set pieces, and boy does he whip in a corner in (fast and flat trajectory). Was serenaded all game by Cov fans to the Mcburnie tune, though they all left in a huff at full time.
Also Simon Moore now has bleach blonde hair.
Not sure if you've noticed but McBurnie is the closest we have to a fit senior striker and perhaps the only one we'll have all seasonThey need a striker ,we need Hamer, offer them McBurnie +£3m

We also need a striker, possibly 2. And you're proposing giving one of the few we've got left away for nothing? They need a striker ,we need Hamer, offer them McBurnie +£3m
