IF KB is moved/moves on at the end of the season and Mowbray is too expensive doesn't want to drop down/step up (according to your opinion of the SPL) to the Championship, what about Gus Poyet? He has certainly done well at Brighton since he took over, plays the right way has been at a big club at Leeds and has the connections. Well respected by his peers and has achieved a lot as a player. We could do worse.

Mowbray, Poyet

See there are a lot better people out there than Gary fuckin Speed.

I was considering poyet as a possibly replacement for blackwell the other day after watching the football league show. Seems to be providing decent, attractive and effective football at Brighton so may be wotha shout.

Not sure about Poyet's assistant, a Mr Taricco, formerly of Ipswich...

My God, is that little shit house still in this country? What a twat.

I suppose I'd best apologise to Ted Danson right here. We had a "spat" a few weeks back when I said that I would renew my season ticket as soon as Blackwell was out of the door no matter who the next manager was. You've just unearthed the one name that would have me shoes off, knuckle dusters on and waiting at the players entrance for a good fist fight.

Poyet was suggested to me by a friend who's a Norwich fan. He said Brighton have played the best football against them this season. Having said that, he only saw them at Carrow Road - I suspect someone who had visited the Withdean might have a different view. I know the Withdean's a grim place to play, but a home record of W4 D3 L11 is a bit of a worry...

Once saw Gus poyet on tv passing through an airport, blanking all the fans wanting autographs. KNOB. Not very friendly to the chelski fans at all.
Unproven and would be another Adrian Heath imo.

Quite right, and probably one for that Chezzie fan who was looking for good stories...

We'd played Ipshit at the Lane, around 1992. Tarrico had been, as ever, true to his Latin 'kick 'em up the arse and run away' roots all through the match.

A sizeable mob were in the Social Club for post-entertainment aperitifs when the Ipshit team coach pulled up right outside to pick the team up.

The team, including Tarricho, got on closely followed by about 50 pissed up 'lads' from the Social wanting to 'have a word'.

He, the manager and the rest of the team absolutely shat themselves.

Not that I'd condone.......... etc. etc.

He only took over half way through the season so I think that you will see a big improvement on that stat if you look at it from when Gus took over.

Not defending the guy as he was a little shit on the pitch but, my memory is a bit hazy, Tarricho was one of the few players to donate his salary to some relief collection a few years back and I believe he does a lot of work on the side for charity.
Could be one of those Schizo players who have their onfield and off field persona.

I did A level French many years ago.

I’d translate it as
Poyet is absolutely furious in the Press Conference following the sale of Gataen Laborde.
The coach of Girondins (which I believe is Bordeaux) wants an explanation regards the direction of the club and is threatening to leave. Don’t know the last sentence but it’s something about “a bad day in this club”.

Poyet is basically pointing the finger at the owners (his employers) of the his club. Doesn’t look like it’s going to end well.

Apparently Bordeaux has now suspended Poyet after his press conference rant criticising the owners.

Last bit, « the worst day since he’s been at the club » Girondins De Bordeaux. Play my local club, Toulouse, tomorrow, in the « Garonne Derby. Thinking of going. Crazy kick off times eg 9pm. Ridiculous

I used the inspector clouseau translator on the video and he says the team needs a burm up its arse
there is one lurr for the directors and another lurr for ze manager

Not the flounce of all flounces.

Remember when he shat in the opposing team's dressing room?

I think i remember that. Didnt he end up getting sacked on live bbc, During confedation cup coverage
