Most of the the various Guardian football writers have predicted how they think the rest of the season will pan out - they've even deigned to predict the Championship promotion race!

https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...will-conclude-premier-champions-league-fa-cup

All bar two, Barney Ronay and Stuart James, have tipped the Blades to make it. And of those two, Stuart James say 'Sheffield United could obviously scupper that prediction – and part of me hopes that they do'. Good lad.

So, do we share their confidence? Or do we just think, as it's outside the Premier League, they're just looking at the current table and basing it on that without doing more research?

This.

I’d guess we’ve a 40-45% (ish) chance of promotion via the top two, so I’m not truly confident. But that’s still a marginally better chance than Leeds and WBA isn’t it?

I believe I recognise your concern - older fans do - but you KNOW Wilder is different, we all do - keep the faith Blades.

We've nearly filled the lane today - great effort - everyone knows the importance.

One game at a time.

They've predicted "Sehffeld Untied" to go up, but not Sheffield United.

It's a 8x head to head with Leeds now. Our destiny in our hands, I feel sick...
