Grumpy has requested I post this one.

What would you be happier with next season?

Same management in charge playing the same boring % football but just scraping in to the play offs on the last day so you suffer all season long watching shit.

or

A new management team that has us playing footie on the ground, passing it around nicely but fail to get in the play-offs on the last day but have been entertained all season long.

And for all those who struggle to create polls, please see our how to guide HERE.

Not sure I quite understand the premise of the poll but:

I would really like a new manager and automatic promotion
I would be more than happy with a new manager and a play-off spot
I am prepared to accept a new manager and missing the play-offs (and so have voted for this as my option)
I won't be going if we ain't got a new manager so no worries

I want us to get in the playoffs this season, if we don't then I believe Blackwell will have failed to deliver this season and we should look elsewhere.

I went for B. If, by some miracle, we went up playing like we are now we would get a spanking that in centuries to come would be spoken of in the same hushed, reverantial tones as The Charge of the Light Brigade as a byword for doing shit. At least if we had a change (and assuming it was a positive one like O'Driscoll or Mowbray) wed be looking to head on in a more sustainable fashion with the building blocks to actually compete.

None ................

I want us to win the league by 10 points at least ! :D

oh an i forgot to say if we get in the playoffs this season i'll put a few ££££'s behind the bar at the Lion so yer can have a drink on me an our gert !

I want us to get to the play off final this year
We won't do that whilst Blackwell is in charge
I want the Club to set a clear target for the next 2 and 5 years
I don't want excuses
I want a manager that is able to meet the targets the club sets
I want to take the opportunity that we have to build a team on a relative shoestring and 'do a Donny'

We play ugly, I accepted this for so long because it got results. But we no longer have the squad to get the results consistently enough, so If we can't win ugly, then i'd rather we at least play a better style of football...For this we need a new broom

Sat 1st half we played the most uninspiring style of crab football since Robson. I just hope thats not a sign of things to come

Neither of the above...

I want us to get to the play offs and get promoted this year. If not then New management is the only way forward so i would like New mangement and automatic promotion if we are still in this league.

I don't quite understand the people that have voted New managemnet, miss out on play offs.

How can new management & missing out be better than no change and reaching them?

It's not going to happen.

At least a new manager might make the fare on offer bearable to watch!
It will take any manager a good couple of years to rebuild the damage created by the "REPROFILING" or "Decimation" of our playing squad over the past few months. We are now no better than average at best and like it or not, we will just have to accept this sad fact. The Chairman has all but killed off all the good work built over the past few years, and Blackwell, although hands tied somewhat, had managed to create total apathy among the fans by his mind numbingly deary football, and seeming disrgard for us, the fans.:(

Do you realise how much Silverfox can drink when its free?:D Of course I am by his standards a very moderate drinker.

Let's be honest, so was Oliver Reed.:D

On the football side I think I'd rather see a side that passed the ball around effectively and managed to entertain us too. There's nothing wrong with hoofing it to the big bloke as long as that's not all that is done. When it's part of a wide variety of passes it's okay. When that's the one trick in your repertoire then it's about as novel as those stupid "comedy" free kicks.

Maybe we'd be happier with a Keegan-esque approach that says it's better to win 5-4 than to have a shitty 1-0 match. I'd go with that, but to lose 5-4 in an entertaining match as an alternative to winning 1-0 in a scrappy affair?
No. Three points please.

Put it another way. When we beat Wednesday at the Lane this season all the pigs afterwards were wittering on about how Wendy played the better football, and were a much more attractive side. The general consensus from the Blades was "So fucking what, piggy? You still lost." We didn't give a shit about attractive football then. We were happy with the win. Sure, we could have played better. But we weren't the attractive side with no points.

It will be the same manager (unless he decides to walk and I don't think he will) and we will be a mid-table finish.

We will flirt occasionally with the play-offs but never quite establish ourselves as serious play-off contenders. We will start the season in alarming fashion in the bottom three for half a dozen matches but we will pull round and put together a reasonable run as the new team begins to develop an understanding.

This coming season will be one of consolidation

perhaps ;)
