Did we ever play at the Don Valley Stadium?

I think we played Rovrum there in a 2010 pre-season game but was just wondering if we might have played in a competitive one, which I'm doubting we have?

Think we played a LDV or whatever it was called game there.. we won !

Plough Lane - Wimbledon. From memory we lost 5-0 and uncovered seating in pouring rain all match.😎

Big nose PHil Thompson and Ken McNaught in defence if I remember right. Awful day except the Fuller pub crawl before !

Gives me a nice excuse to post up a few pics of our old girl and reminisce of the good times spent there.... 7 years been gone now 😥😥😥😥

Many a time I went and pondered how the hell the 15k squeezed in when we beat Liverpool but then of course the Blades came and officially the crowd was 17,042 setting the new record attendance but they reckoned it was pushing nearer 20k!!

Used to have a guy in a boat on the Severn to retrieve footballs.
I remember an article in a Football League Magazine and it was a coracle! A round boat made from willow and somehow waterproofs and propelled by a single paddle. The guy used to sit in his boat and wait for the splash of a wild clearance.

The BBC also did an article on it showing him rowing after the ball it was interesting.
