Not really a rumour, but he's just left Rangers as part of their cost cutting, a natural left winger, something which we don't really have, depending on wages worth a punt on a deal till end of season???

I was thinking that as well, and seems a top bloke if he's willing to risk his career for others less fortunate than himself.

Yeah worth a punt.

Now is the time to go and claim some players from Rangers and Pompey I think.

Can't see any of the players from Rangers or Pompey heading to BL.

Most will be on more wages than we can afford sadly

He is only 20 and a bit unproven so I doubt top teams will be in for him and his wages wouldn't be too high.

The other guy Celik would be the one that is out of our league (been there a month and played all 5 games)

It says in one of the scottish papers that finding himself a new club wont be that simple for Wylde though. Otherwise they would all do it

Wages a problem when he's unemployed in a crisis industry, I don't think so.

It's been estimated that releasing Wylde and Celik from their contracts will only save Rangers £50,000 a month in wages, which works out at around £12,000 per week between them. It's not wild to speculate that the Swedish Under 21 international will have been on more than his Scottish colleague so if he was good enough, we should be able to afford him.

Get on t'blower Danny, offer the lad a trial.

How come? Because of how he was let go by rangers? E.g. not your usual ending of a contract by mutual consent etc?

Speaking to Celtic and Rangers fans, they think Wylde will go on to "triple his wages" by signing for an English team. Now in my experience Scottish fans over rate their players (they think any of their squad could walk into the English Premiership) but there's still a huge discrepancy between where they think Wylde should end up and us.

Wylde can't, I don't think, sign for a Premiership team as the registration window is closed. Nothing stopping us offering him a short term deal until the end of the season - unless he's not very good, of course.

Surprise surprise, Blackpool are looking at him

Mind you, if they offer him the same kind of deal they offered Robbie Fowler :D
