Waste of time.
The poor fecker doing the regional apps may well be facing the chop as the holding company Johnston Press is a basket case with no interest in customer service and local newspapers.
They are in so much debt that they'll likely go under in 2019 when they've a £200 million bond to repay.
It is run by Ashley Highfield a man who has made a career out of staggering incompetence whilst trousering huge wages and sham non performance based bonuses.
I just uninstalled it, so less website traffic less revenue for these cunts.

Anybody who has an iPhone 4 or iPad 3 or earlier could have a problem, as both the Green-Un and Yorkshire Post Apps stopped updating earlier this year because they weren’t compatible with the older IOS versions that those devices use.

That said, both these Apps often only give you snippets. They’re a sales tool for the Star and the YP. More often than not, the story cuts off half way through or leaves you hanging on the punch line, and there’s even headlines without any story.

Last week there was the headline “Sheffield Wednesday F....d “

I can’t imaging what that was about.

Was an update yesterday for the Android App so that likely fixed it.

I’ve tried the Green ‘Un app, and find that the sentences aren’t finished off properly. It’s as though all they’ve done is a cut and paste job from the Star app, which I find much better.

Maybe I’ve got the wrong Green ‘Un app?
