I'll take the point tonight. It's results like this that get you promotion. Rest players for the cup game and come back strong with two winnable home games.

Went into Christmas 5 points clear of third. Now 9 points clear with twenty games to go. I'll take that as well.

Fuckin hell, a sane one at last!

Thank you. Sanity.

Too many Jimmy Muir’s dad types ready to slag us off at the first opportunity.

Bloody rubbish we are. I knew we’d fuck it up. We’ve been shit for weeks. We’ll never be any good. Boo.

QPR were a decent side until Wolves came in for Beale and it seemed to unsettle them. Then he left them for Rangers and they lost Chair to the WC after losing Willock to injury. They’ve now got Critchley who is starting to turn them round and they’ve got Chair and Willock back, they’re not really a bottom of the league side. Like most championship clubs, they’re capable of beating anyone in the league, and also of having an off day. They were up for it last night, totally committed and sticking to their manager’s game plan. Much more like the QPR of early season. They still couldn’t beat us, even after we gifted them a goal.

Positives: Jebbo looked decent. Having him and McAtee on the bench gave Hecky genuine options and his subs made an impact.

It may alert the board to the need to strengthen a little. We’re not far off but I fear we’re heading towards the complacency we had in 2007, when Warnock wanted to bring in better quality but had to sign players with low fees and wages, because it looked like we were going to stay up anyway. I’m not saying we have to go out and sign the next Nugent for big money, that’s ridiculous, we clearly haven’t got much but we do need to sign someone. If we don’t, we’ll limp into the end of the season, drop points and miss out on autos.

Agree on QPR. I know they've been in poor form but they have a decent team for this level and will likely be top 10 this season. I thought it would be difficult last night after the run they'd had and let's not forget that their team was suffering with illness when Luton smashed them. Willock didn't even start and Chair could only do an hour.

It's a good point for me.

Well if someone had said at the start of the season we would be 9 points clear of 3rd place we ALL would have creamed ourselves wouldnt we ?

All irrelevant because there is no way of proving it one way or the other, but for me if we don't self destruct on 11 minutes we win that game comfortably.
Started on the front foot against a team low on confidence by the look of it. Possibly could have been one up and follow the pattern of the previous away games BUT goals change games and they grew into it with the gift. How often is the first goal pivotal to the eventual outcome of the game? More often than not.

They didn't create a deal to be concerned about after but were happy to sit in (and time waste) just like they did at the Lane. They showed us once this season that they're quite good at this. The fact we gave them the opportunity to do it again is the huge negative from the game, the result the positive.

You could well be right. It was quite satisfying to see the ref add extra time for the injury on 90 minutes, after they’d done their best to shithouse us through to the end. A bit less of that and we wouldn’t have got that last chance. The stats indicated a draw was a fair result and we got what we deserved.
