.The guys looked a bit down for the first 15 mins of the second half, and who could blame them, but their great team spirit carried them through a difficult spell and it speaks volumes for their togetherness that they rode it out and finished well on top.
A great effort that shows the character will always be there and gives us heart for the battles ahead.
Some are saying we could now falter but you know what? These players and the management we have won't let that happen and will be solidly behind whoever fills Pauls boots . I for one am sure we will carry on regardless, because that's the mindset within the club and nothing will break us!

Be better if they brought their own boots but I know what you mean ;)
In a strange way it could even push us on, make the lads even more determined to do it for Couttsy, a bit like the way most teams respond to having a man sent off.

This is why i think that last night was probably one of the biggest wins of the season so far. Not discounting Wednesday, Leeds or Sunderland, but the impact of losing such a player for such a long time (the players will have known) and having to play a second half against a plucky side and not just holding, but putting the lead out of reach shouldn't be underestimated.

This side doesn't feel pressure

Winning promotion without Coutts is like asking Portugal to win the Euro’s without Ronaldo...

I think people sometimes underestimate how much it must knock a team when something like that happens in a game. I thought about it after the QPR game but last night was far worse. But not a single challenge got shirked by one of our players and they won the game at a canter. Can't ask for any more from them.
