I’d have a look at Clough if I was them. Knows the division, recent experience of surviving a scrap at the bottom end. He’d certainly make them harder to beat. And look how he picked our lot up when he came in.

Surely he’d be baggable as well? Sunderland could pay far better than Burton and realistically, how much further can NC go with them? And Brayford always looked good in red and white.

He wouldn't be a long term solution, ie; promotion pushing. But short term, he’s the type you’d fancy to get you out of the mire relegation wise. Dull but effective.
