Got Our Bite Back Today

Obviously very happy with today’s result & performance, thought we’d got our bite back in our game today particularly in the second half , I like a game with a bit of niggle & an edge to & i’d thank you Mr Lampard for your little spat with CW think you threw a bit more fuel on the fire which definitely benefited us more .
Good battling performance from front to back also I thought Fleck was best I’ve seen him in a couple of months , keep up the good work

I was absolutely fuming [as were we all] when the ref bottled the pen and Wilson scored for them, but the injustice of it all, combined with the ensuing fracas and touchline naughtiness seemed to give our boys the kick up the arse that they needed. We never looked back and comprehensively played FLDC off the park.

As much as I love the way we play under Wilder and how the media rave about the way we play, I was brought up on us being unfashionable Sheff Utd, always part of a battle and overcoming the odds. We always had great rivalries with teams and grudges with players as a result. We play the right way so much these days that even the old rivalries seem to be lessening as teams such as Forest respect the way we play so there’s less atmosphere in the ground as a result and none of the Warnock style chaos late on in games

It’s great football but was good today to see the fight of old and think you sometimes need that character and fight to go up (late winners, comebacks etc)

It is a shame it took that incident to fire us up. Everyone found an extra yard of pace and that is the level of bite we need to challenge. Please CW show them this game back to make it stick.

Amazed how it wasnt a penalty as last man back have a desperation push into mcgoldrick stonewall penalty. But he & derby players lost it mentally from this point. I was Trying to remember when the last time was that opposition scoring was the turning point for our victory & i was thinking Oxford. As from 1-0 down simailry their was only 1 team in it

We had the odd wobble, but on the whole played excellently, I do think we pass it too much sometimes aswell, but we're never going to perfect, afterall, were all fucking wankers at the Lane!
