Goodbye Jess Ennis Stand!

If I ever owned Sheffield United then I would change several things.

1. We'd play in red & white stripes (and not that fucking abomination that we've got for next season) in every match unless there was a colour clash.
2. The stands would be Kop, New South, Bramall Lane and John Street
3. I'd buy the shop on the corner of Shoreham Street and Cherry Street and I'd rename it "Bri & Irene's"
You knew Brian & Irene then Crouchy, Brian was a good mate of my old man back in the day. Good fisherman he was too, and a gentleman. Irene lovely woman.

As an individual she had every right to voice her opinion I fully agree. As a high profile "patron" of the club she had every right to make that opinion plain to the club.
The only thing I have a problem with is she used that position through the media to rub United's proverbial nose in the shit.

She had no official position within the club or the community foundation (as far as I know).

Met Jess in town yesterday, she smiled and told me she’d show me a good time. ......Then she ran 100m in 9.69 seconds.

The kop needs demolishing and a complete re build at some point, I sit on row R which is OK but much further back and you cant see the goal line and then there is always the posts likely to get in your way too. The top corner built on stilts has dropped a few inches too making it even harder to see the goal when everyone stands up. I think anyone over 6ft would struggle for leg room on the kop.

Agreed! With the land behind the kop and south stand they could build a really impressive new kop and second tier to the south stand with a-joining corner - similar to how they redeveloped St James's.

When the time is appropriate it would be really nice to see the club do some ground improvements with quality and better designing - I love the Lane but the interior of the Kop corner was designed poorly, the exterior of the Westfield corner looks shocking, the Kop was done on the cheap, and I always felt they could have made John Street a little bigger.

If we got back to the Prem I reckon we could easily fill 40K on a regular basis if away fans can bring 5K.
