Seemingly Leicester fans were all given a freepint and mince pie from the club, who attended tonight’s match. Would you like to see SUFC do this for the fans, or what alternative could it offer, bar promotion.

A free Easter egg at the next home gameSeemingly Leicester fans were all given a freepint and mince pie from the club, who attended tonight’s match. Would you like to see SUFC do this for the fans, or what alternative could it offer, bar promotion.
Don't get too excited pal it was Foster's!Seemingly Leicester fans were all given a freepint and mince pie from the club, who attended tonight’s match. Would you like to see SUFC do this for the fans, or what alternative could it offer, bar promotion.
Last home match (whenever the hell that was ) I asked for chipsI can barely get a beer when I'm trying to give the club some fucking money for it. I can't see it being any faster when they're giving them away to every chuff in the ground.
we could do this if we only wanted 5000 in their seats for 2nd half kick offSeemingly Leicester fans were all given a freepint and mince pie from the club, who attended tonight’s match. Would you like to see SUFC do this for the fans, or what alternative could it offer, bar promotion.
LCFC were handing out canned drinks so no pouring needed.I can barely get a beer when I'm trying to give the club some fucking money for it. I can't see it being any faster when they're giving them away to every chuff in the ground.
Leicester is one of those nondescript Meccano stadia , well-suited to mass-catering ..I can barely get a beer when I'm trying to give the club some fucking money for it. I can't see it being any faster when they're giving them away to every chuff in the ground.
Catering at the Lane has gone downhill since I stopped working there in 1980.Last home match (whenever the hell that was ) I asked for chipspie / peas and gravy - as did my two mates - I (and they) got presented with a tray of chips , a pie in a box and peas and gravy in a box
Got charged £8.00 instead of £6.50 and tried to explain to the four young people serving us that the food should come all together - they looked at us gone out and even the manager couldn’t get through to them
Anyway rant over
Full cans ? Elf n Safety ? Will no one think of the children ?LCFC were handing out canned drinks so no pouring needed.![]()

Agree sir next thing your be saying there used to be a gourmet menu with you showcasing your french classical cooking skills on the kopCatering at the Lane has gone downhill since I stopped working there in 1980.
Although I ended up as de facto 2nd in command , the best time was from joining as a 14 yr old "tray-lad", going around the old white perimeter fence with my cinema-style tray - us tray-lads worked on commission so it was in our interests to stock our trays up with the fastest moving lines.
Crisps were a big seller but bulky + you couldn't fit many on.
I'd noticed that the catering onions arrived in big "netted" onion bags , so hit on the idea of tying one to each side of my tray + stuffing them full of crisps - I was well-laden down but in the money come cashing-up time !
There's just no initiative or enterprise in those faces behind the counter these days , whether it's theatre , rock arenas , wherever.
Stadia Catering , who had the contract at the Lane in the 70s , also did Finningley Air Display + some of us got bussed there.
One day I did 1,100 hotdogs - 22 of those big Westlers tins of 50 Frankfurters each.
I've always been a grafter - I don't think many of our young folks know what grafting is.
Just get a pint next time pal your see the benefitsLast home match (whenever the hell that was ) I asked for chipspie / peas and gravy - as did my two mates - I (and they) got presented with a tray of chips , a pie in a box and peas and gravy in a box

It used to be First Contact early 2000s, catering agency that ran out of the blades business centre on John Street.Catering at the Lane has gone downhill since I stopped working there in 1980.

Don't forget the free blue Santa hats they gave out as well.Leicester also dish out those clacker things, don’t they?
If it’s a slippery slope to that then they can do one.
And what about my old kneesLeicester is one of those nondescript Meccano stadia , well-suited to mass-catering ..
Unlike our beloved old Kop with its poles , knee-crushing seats & utterly inadequate catering facilities.
Whilst those mental feckers were banging on about new stands & 40k capacities at the Lane in 2019 , I was quietly thinking that a bit of steelwork running the entire length of the back of the Kop could provide a 100 yards of accessible bar for 10,000 thirsty customers like me - for a fraction of the cost + more income for the club.

I hope you donned a HazMat suit when you worked at the pigstyIt used to be First Contact early 2000s, catering agency that ran out of the blades business centre on John Street.
Used to do Bramall Lane, Hillsborough, various events around the city, Sculpture Park, Magna, Bolton Wanderers and the Ashes at Trent Bridge.
Most staff were under 18 so did kiosk stuff but as an 18 year old I was always on the bar instead. Did a few nightclubs too as part of it. Fun work, shit pay.
Missed that. Do tellI have a feeling the good PR might be offset by the chants those same fans were singing once the mince pies had gone down.
Well , if it were up to me , you wouldn't have to climb up to the back of the Kop to get served , coz I'd re-introduce an army of fast-fingered tray-lads who'd roam the Kop + serve you from the end of your row ... Or if you're near the front , from the perimeter fence. And what about my old knees
