The businesses aren't necessarily competing against each other for the same prize though. It fucks with the competition when teams break the rules.

We've weakened the squad, not had the training facilities sorted and been placed under an embargo. I'm not shoes off yet, but surely you're disappointed?

McBurnie replaces McAtee in the starting 11 for me. Berge, N’Diaye and McBurnie. McAtee takes Khadra’s place on the bench.

A strong bench with plenty of attacking dimension. 3 out of the 4 offer more than Khadra - unfair on Osula as he’s a bit of a wildcard at the moment, but if he bags a few and looks like a Btec R9 we’re going up!!

Numerically K was replaced by recalling O.
Overall to me the squad looks stronger, not because of numbers but because one or two players have significantly improved their performances.
As K was never going to be in the starting line up when we are near full strength then I don’t see his leaving as a problem, especially when a left sided midfielder joins us at 22.59 today !!

It probably did help that a fair chunk of our squad had relegation clauses that reduced their wages.

Unless we have a change of heart before 11pm I don't see that we are any weaker, Khadra only ever made sub appearances. If Jebbo makes the step as it looks like he could be doing that will more than make up for Khadra. Another positive for me if we don't lose players or sign anyone is we don't have to integrate new faces with how we play we all know what is required for the next 18 games. The big disappointment for me is once again off field events behind the scenes have had an impact on the football side of the club as they did when the Prince and Wilder fell out. The Prince should not have let it come to a transfer embargo and hawking our better players to other clubs which is unsettling for everyone. I will forgive him on this one as up to present he has been the best owner/chairman we have had in over 50 years.
