Totally agree with the rest of your post and don't want to get into "he said she said" territory but we scored at Wembley so it's been put to bed

I'd say scoring 1 v City would eclipse scoring 3 v Hull. It would be more recent and would sort of normalise it, ready for the 3 in a row in the game where we really need it....

Credit to boro they have had a very attacking approach and its paid off but they have rode their luck
In every game I've seen them they have massively outperformed their xg and been super clinical whilst giving up big chances at the other end that have been not taken
Our game for example we created more than I have seen us all season yet most of our fan base think on that as a thrashing
Every time they have played a decent counter attacking team with pace they have struggled and whenever they have got within 3 points of us they have lost
I don't think it's over but psychologically they will not be as gung ho now as injuries and suspensions could damage their play off chances

The difference is points. They're 6 points behind now and if they lose and we win then that's 9 and we have a game in hand. The closer they get the more they trip up.
