I'll probably be walking the west highland way when the game is on. Doubt i'll get a signal....

If we get to the final, ( a very big IF, ) i am staying sober....been pissed every other time....so maybe that will break our curse?

I will be in Spain, so will find a bar to watch the game, with a few pints naturally, just hope there is no piggy fans like the last time, cunts.
You'll not be the only one in Spain. We fly out the day before the final.

I present my naked buttocks to the Footballing Gods. Last minute defeats, penalty marathon losses, abject surrenders. Whatever. They've nothing new to throw at us.

Ladies, gentlemen and deities - I give you my buttocks.

(_!_)
Possibly another reason you're not invited? :-)

Oh yes there is. We haven't had illegible player, mass brawl leads to game abandoned, players coach gets lost and doesn't arrive in time, army parachutist parachutes in and lands on six of our players who have to be taken to hospital, serious bout of flu runs amok through the team a day before the game. I could go on and on.

If, and I repeat if we get to Wembley it's either Armageddon or no one will be there!

Can I have your "loyalty" points? ;)

I don't like this 5.15 kick off one bit. It means we won't be able to get back into Central London to celebrate before 8, or even later if there's extra time and penalties.

If we do make it, it's probably a good idea not to start on the ale before 12pm, as a number of people (me included) did before the Hull game

It's 5.30, so don't start on the ale before 12.15!

Last week Bradford and Barnsley looked the biggest threats. Now it's Chesterfield, Fleetwood and Rochdale, who have a slightly better goal difference to us

These are very nervous times. If we continue blowing hot and cold, as we have done all season, we could end up right in the mix on the final day against a (currently) in-form Chesterfield.

Win against Donnie and Yeovil, draw against Oldham and Orient and we should be about there.

we have won 3 out of 4. Our form isn't too shabby either

Depends whether your glass is half full or half empty. We have three wins out of the last nine games. We've also only won two of our last six home games

Another home win tomorrow for sure. Mind you, I just finished off my latest glass. But surely, we can't have another turn of form like the Scunthorpe/Crewe scenario? Can we??

I don't return from Canada until the new season, so you needn't worry about this jinx. Are there more Blades oversea's than in Sheffield?

People on Blades Mad are talking about whether we should play a weakened team against Chesterfield if we have already made the Play Offs by then.

It made me think that there's a good chance that the 3rd and 4th placed teams could well have 3 or 4 "lame duck" matches in which to prepare for the play offs - while we could be biting our fingernails and putting in huge efforts all the way to the end (the first leg is only four days after our final game).

OK it would be good to see Preston get automatic, but I also want Swindon and MK Dons' seasons to stay alive for as long as possible. And, of course, us to secure the Play Offs with games to spare

Having dead rubber games can work both ways, it's possible they might lose focus/form if they have a fair few games with nothing to play for.

Great win against Donnie but we can't get carried away. We probably need another two wins, or five points as an absolute minimum. If Rochdale win their game in hand they'll be just five points behind us with a better goal difference. Should that happen, a single loss could put us right back in it.

Both Rochdale and Chesterfield have some hard games coming up but so do we. Oldham, Bradford, and Chessie will all be tough. Orient will be scrapping for their lives. Yeovil are doomed, though and will hopefully be drained of confidence.

Three points at Oldham would be fantastic, a point or even a loss wouldn't be too bad of Rochdale or Chesterfield also lose. I feel we need to go for it now, and hopefully seal our play off spot before the Chesterfield game. If Swindon carry on losing we might have a shot at 4th place, too.

I'd much prefer to play Swindon in the semis, and to do that we need to hang on to 5th.

The way Swindon are going we may even get above them and be able to have the second leg at the Lane - given that we have performed generally better away this season I'm not sure whether that would be the advantage it should be though.
