September for me....or April.... Or is it October... No.... I'm thinking of August... Yeah August.... Definitely August unless September is warm and dry then it's September.... Yep.... September unless there's an Indian summer then probably October....

Too hot for me: The penalty shootout vs Huddersfield at Wembley. Runner up was Gillingham at home when we drew 0-0 and "Real Madrid wouldn't have beaten that Gillingham team today".
Too cold for me: Mansfield away in 1989. It was colder than absolute zero, and Bob Booker still wore short sleeves.
Just right: All other games.

Sunderland at Roker park, winter late 80's or early 90's, memory failing me now, coldest I have ever been in my life.

Bristol Rovers at Eastville sometime in the late 70’s. Twas so cold, Blades fans were lighting fires on the terracing to keep warm. It finished 0-0 if anyone can find the date. Oh and Sabella was in the side if that narrows it down.

Reading the other year when Duffy smashed in a screamer was the coldest I've ever been at a game. I flew out with work early the following morning and take-off was delayed as the plane had to be de-iced.

September in Barcelona will be nice for Champions League match day 1 :-)

And the most bored. Absolute shocker of a game.

I remember specifically watching a donkey of a centre half called " Wes Morgan" and thinking how useless he was.

The very same Wes Morgan went on to win a Premier League winners medal with Leicester - sometimes it's just down to good coaching - bit like some of our players and the progress we've seen them make.

Too cold - Oldham at any time of the year
A man after my own heart many years ago went to Oldham think it was BD, talk about cold there were flashers describing themselves. IMS this silly old twat trying to be cool went in shorts and t-shirt god never been so cold. Mind you when we came up in 1990 went to Newcastle we lost 2-0 it was red hot when we left Sheffield, got to Newcastle got off coach and was slipping on ground due to ice.

for me I think September & October / March & half of April,

forest H will always be the coldest ever for me, because it was -10, blizzards during the 1st half, frozen before half time & it felt like I was watching tromso in the Norwegian arctic circle

I am sure Silent Blade will know.

Fulham at home night match in the 78/79 season.

My dad had to take me home at half time and carry me all the way to pond street cus I was literally frozen to the spot

To answer the question I do love a good August match.

Going to the game in tee shirt and shorts and out supping all day. May is broadly similar 👍

Derby away circa 2003 midweek game that was rearranged due to a frozen pitch a couple of weeks earlier - coldest I remember and colder than that Forest match, although I may have been wearing warmer clothes that night!

Was the Mansfield game midweek when it were snowing on and off and blades singing and jumping up and down up and down to keep warm?

That was the one. Also remember us doing the same at Watford in the cup a couple of years earlier. We invented the bounce and the pigs copied 😀

The first leg of the League Cup semi at Tottenham a few years ago was cold as fuck.
Couldn't get warm on the way home at all but couldn't keep the window fully shut cos I kept nearly nodding off on the motorway.

I didn’t need or ask for a dick swinging contest on who’s been the most cold at a game. Sheesh. You’re all nesh.
