Chris Wilder has set a 70 goal target, something we haven't come close to achieving since 2012. We can't just rely on Billy for goals this year, we will need Adams to be contributing and get some goal scoring midfielders in!

If we are only targeting 70 then to get promotion we're going to need some very good defenders. Personally, I think we need to target more than that, I'd love to see the stats over recent seasons to see how many goals teams have scored who have gone up?

Cheers! Looking at those stats then, my post has a bit of prudence to it because the teams who scored less than 70 must have had good defenders and only conceded roughly a goal a game to gain promotion.

70 is nowhere near enough because our defence is going to be a new combination and cannot immediately be a ducks arse.

A totally pointless target. As if you're going to score 2 and think yes! just 68 to go! I would prefer a target of 2 goals per game, but without last seasons effect.

Blades 2-4 Shrewsbury

Blades 2-3 Colchester

I can see us getting above 70 goals, CW has already hinted that he wants attacking football, let's hope we can keep it out of our net:rolleyes:
