Interestingly, we have scored more goals from open play (by our own players) than any other team in this division, quite an interesting little stat!

It's especially interesting given the number of games we've dominated possession in the attacking third and not managed to turn our superiority into goals. As Wilder has said, we've just been lacking that extra bit of "cleverness" at times. If we end up finding it this transfer window, we could be flying.

"Counter attack" is a bit vague. I thought Fulham got 2 against us.

I wonder where we are if they did a conversion rate of corners to goals?

Glass half-full: "We're top of the 'scoring goals from open play' league!" :)

Glass half-empty: "We're third from bottom of the 'scoring goals from set-pieces' league."

That has to be wrong, how do we compare to barca and Madrid, now we are apparently on a par

Are they counting 'counter attack' as goals that are not scored from open play? It seems strange to make a separate category for counter attack goals - the whole point of which is to break quickly with the ball in open play

Do we need to be cuter at winning penalties? The ones given against us have been pathetic.

Agreed, our players need to learn to 'play the game' a bit more, Wilder might not like it but other teams do it and we need to start doing it.

derby's had 6 penalty's to our 1, thats a big difference considering we probably attack more than them.
