Maybe TP is frustrated about Beattie being bothered about missing a day of training before a must win game against Wigan, for a christmas p*ss up, considering how poorly Beattie is playing at the minute.

He wasn't playing particularly well this time last year. In fact, when he left, we actually as a team started to play much much better - a fact that has been all too quickly forgotten.

The news of his departure is presumably good news for us - you did remember to include a sell-on clause in the transfer, didn't you Terry? Uh oh....

Hi all, Stoke fan coming in peace here. Word around Stoke is that TP and Beattie did not "exchange blows" in the dressing room and this is just media horses**t. However I, like other Stoke fans have no doubt that all is not well. Being a student at Hallam, I'd love to see Beatts back at the Lane for a loan spell to boost his goal scoring and confidence. Beattie kept us up last season and you dont lose class overnight. But I can't see him leaving Stoke as he is, not like at United, a fans favourite in the Potteries.
P.S, I'm looking forward to seeing how s*it Cresswell is tonight as I'l be going to the game, also, how is Andrew Davies looking? I saw him in the Sheffield derby game and he looked very good.
Thanks all.

what do you base that statement on ?

BT to West Ham is the latest one this morning.

Where do you think he could do a job?

Assuming he moves but stays in the PL, where would you like to see him go?

Personally, I rated BT, but never thought he was the best option for us at the time. He was almost a luxury at the lane and at the time we need to strengthen in other areas.

He's fit in well at Stoke and found the net, but he's had a few injuries this season and he's also down the Pecking order.

I reckon, a BT type of player will work well at Arsenal, watching them this season and last night he could give them a more powerful option up top.

I'd love to see how he'd do there, but I doubt Wenger would go for him

Old, past it, injury-prone, on big money, attitude problem.......

Don't understand why he isn't at Newcastle already tbh.

Honestly, it's because they have better options upfront already.

Ameobi, Ranger, Harewood, Løvenkrands, and Andy Carroll.

Personally I don't get the fuss around Ameobi I find him too inconsistent but I'd love to see Carroll in a Blades shirt despite his rough edges. He's the sort of player you need for a target man at the top championship/lower premiership level. Strong, good touch, decent finish, good in the area, and the one thing that lifts him above 90% of target men in this division is his mobility.

I never did trust Pulis in that daft baseball cap. Maybe this will come back to haunt him like that infamous 'Phil Brown moment'.
I wonder if he had his cap on when attempting the headbutt? Wouldn't have done much damage to Beattie if so.
