I believe we could attract him now as we seem to have some money behind us.More importantly it looks like he carnt get a Premier League or Championship Club due to being out of work for quite some time.Has a very pedigree as a Manager (Charlton and West Ham) and would want to prove himself to the world that he can still do it.Win-Win for us and him, what you think?

I think it says alot for how most blades fans view Weir as there is already 2 posts on this forum about his replacement.

but we dont need a manager yet,do we?
8 games is all it needs to signal a bloke out of his post.
Im finding it frustrating and difficult to decide whether its time to sack now or wait a bit.
Fucked off is a good way of putting it,but curbishley wouldnt ignite the fire for me.

As a previous West Ham player and manager he would not be a very wise choice, in my opinion.

I'm hardly worried about his west ham history when we've already had an ex pig. I'd rather have Long in charge at minute and he doesn't even speak.

good man he is but been out of job a long time now, and i ask why

Sorry, but WTF has that got to do with it?

I am not convinced by the Curbishley suggestion as he has been out if the game for about five years, but to rule him out for those reasons is ridiculous.

Curbishley won't move north of junction 9 on the M1, so that's a non-starter. Plus he's done nowt but play tiddliwinks and tend his garden for the last five years, so that's another reason to say no.

On what basis is Curbishley the man to get us out of this mess & up the league?
He hasnt worked for 5 years for crying out loud.

Spot on.
Go for Poyet first and then after that ask Warnock.

On FFS some dick has said the same thing on Bladesmad as well, Why not go for Jimmy Hill or Ian St. John too.? We need RDM or Poyet that's if we are serious about moving forward not someone from the Jurasic Period.

Or give the existing man the money and actually give him a chance rather than hang him before he has had a chance?

Di matteo and poyet, I'd be more than a little surprised if they dropped to league 1. There's clubs richer than us in much better positions

That's what I'd say to my dog if we were daft enough to appoint him!

We have a manager. There is no vacancy at the moment.
