Good post mate, as a self-confessed miserablist your words ring true. Can't say I always agree with you but at least you're passionate and care, and after it's all said and done, isn't that what binds us? UTB

I love reading people's views on here, I might disagree, I sometimes vigorously disagree but nothing makes me more proud than to see how passionate our fans are.

Trouble is, once that choice has been made, often by your dad, you're stuck with your team for the rest of your life. Saturday (or Tuesday) becomes our equivalent of a religious gathering, where we all commit to the cause and trudge to the temple - BDTBL - and give vent to our feelings in support of the mighty red and whites! It really is a strange equation across the world, you'll find men who follow a club who have no more hope of achieving success than I have of winning the lottery! Yet it's passed down from one generation to the next, and we buy into it as if it's how life is meant to be......oh well, once the GCB has been sung like our version of the lord's prayer, the whistle has been blown, we're away from everything else. For 90 minutes we're Blades, and that's all that matters, and ever will it be thus UTB!
