The events of last summer may well have made the owners more risk averse. With that in mind, I think they will keep Wilder.
Whatever our opinions are, after the disastrous start to the season the remit was met. We might or not agree with the methodology ( I don’t for sure) but we are still in the division.
Whilst I’d prefer to see a manager change at the end of the season, that on its own isn’t going to solve the problem. There are wider issues at the club that also need addressing, issues with the infrastructure that need addressing. We can’t keep going with the parochial “it’ll do” attitude, patching metaphorical potholes when what’s really needed is a new road.
But I fear I am just shouting at traffic, and it’s becoming pretty tiresome. Like a marriage that you keep going “just because” rather than admitting it just isn’t the same.
