Exactly. Ultimately, pretty much every manager leaves a club due to being shit for a period of time and making poor decisions. It’s the way it works. Thankfully for us, we had a few really good years prior to this - which he was also responsible for.That ship has long since sailed,but we have the great memories.
Unfortunately they were expensive decisions due to the league we were in. If he had bought players for 3 or 4 million then we would be screaming for him to ‘spend the money’
Who foresaw Brewster being poor when it seemed we had finally bought a goal scorer? How many of us were purring over Berge when he first came in?
