TBH I'm not sure whether it's the players or the manager but this is absolutely pathetic.

Hang on, he's had decent backing, don't forget top loans cost money, compared to most managers in this division he's done alright

This, anyone who thinks he’s a luxury/lazy/uncommitted etc just look at how we play with and without him. He’s the ticking heart of our midfield. Norwood has looked lost without him to drive us forwards hence our lump/ping it tactics of late

Robinson not ready for 90 minutes. No professional manager in the world would play a centre half who could not manage 90 mins. Brewster in what position exactly for, presumably Osborne?

I'm not so sure, I think its SO ordinary, literally every team is having its ups and downs. At this rate you'd half expect the top 14 to have 55-60 pts at the end of the season.

Why should he be banned because he has a different opinion to you ?
Keep your Heckingbottom Blinkers on, one day when it's too late it will dawn on you that he's a cheap manager who isn't very good and makes Micky Adams look like a tactical genius.

Too much strength and aerobic training and not enough actual football training is my guess for injuries and crap performances.
 
We are so badly hampered by injuries, more than others. RND out now as well for fuck knows how long. Hecky and the coaches really need to find a way to stop the rot. A fully fit squad and we’re fine. The last couple of games have shown how important Berge is to us.

Regarding the injuries, I noted Joc at half time in the commentary today saying “Nobody spends more time in the gym than Sheffield United” with a sort of nod to saying we work really hard at muscle building, but it did make me wonder about other posters’ comments regarding our injuries and the stresses weight training puts on muscle groups (about which I know absolutely nothing at all - and I do mean nothing).
 



It's more then time to get shot of Heckingbottom and his coaching team and with it the Poundland prince who is ruining this club. Heckingbottom hasn't a clue how to turn this around. That we have mounted such an injury list is down to his training methods and that he is a piss average coach who will not take the club forward is being brutally shown now. But still people will defend the prick.
 
In all seriousness, I wish we could get some kind of independent auditor / performance guru into the Club. There’s obviously things that have been wrong for years and recently. It’s so frustrating, you look at other clubs the same size as us run successfully and progressing. We just seem to drift along, a good kick up the arse in all departments of the club would be welcome but will never materialise.

Agreed. In the Blackpool game Norwood didn’t take the ball off the centre backs once, and we resorted to an awful repetitive cycle of Wes laying it off to RND who took it left and then looked for Osborn who was miles away and closely marked, and we lost it. This seemed to happen again and again. This season, when Norwood has been closely marked, Berge has regularly dropped back to pick it up off the back line and got things moving. There’s a lot of issues there - RND isn’t really a LCB, Osborn isn’t a LWB, Osborn has been out for ages, the back line is changing every week and struggling … but missing Berge is part of it too.

Same old excuses and bollocks from people like you. We haven't got asquad capable of challenging in or doing welllin the Prem and won't get there. People like you live in a fantasy land or are on something

Does he not deserve some defending though, seeing as how he turned things around post Slav, and how we started this season? Agreed, things are shite right now but I’m willing to give the man a chance, he deserves it for me
