I think he's a good player but when I've seen him he seems to play in the free role at the tip of a 3 man midfield (like Baxter). Not sure he'd fit in with our system to be honest. Also, now we have Hammond and Bash doing a decent job, I'd be more inclined to prioritise LM, CF, CB and possibly GK though George has been quite good of late.

allegedly - I'd have though the more devout the player, the more likely he is to cheat - Jermain Defoe, Christiano Ronaldo spring to mind. (because you can get absolved of your sins if you pray hard enough).

Moncur is a twat for celebrating goals in front of opposition fans, did it at the Lane, next game at Swindon, and Sat in front of the Charlton fans.

I agree, I had absolutely no idea who he was at the time, he plays for Colchester, a team I have absolutely no feelings towards yet there he is giving it the big un in front of the kop like he's a world beater.

In all honesty I do struggle to know who our players are at this level

The only opposition players I've been able to name whilst we've been down here are former players and probably Nathan Byrne in the play offs last season because of the nightmares he caused me watching him hurtle down that right wing at the Lane. Even then I couldn't properly put a name to him, he was known as the "excellent nippy little winger we ought to have signed".

If you went to see some games, then you probably would remember a few.

Ryan Wood for Shrewsbury was a stand out performance last season, now gone to Brentford.

I thought that was more to do with him being on West Hams books (coming up through their academy) from 2011-2014

He really does look a talent. Consistent performer for a poor side. He's only 22 and has scored 8 goals from midfield this season.

Lot's of people want Tom Bradshaw to sign for us. Walsall sit 3rd in the league and he is their leading scorer on 9 goals.

We have been crying out for a goalscoring midfielder for years now.

Could we swap Moncur for Baxter??
