Incoming? George Moncur

Having seen Colchester a few times, given a choice I'd take Gilbey over Moncur every time.

I was surprised to see that Massey had gone to a L2 side. In the game against us he run us ragged and looked a good, direct winger who might've moved onwards and upwards. Was he a JCR type (1 good game in 5)?

He’s a good player. Wouldnt say I “dread” playing him, but never one I’m happy to see line up against us. He always looks dangerous. Seem to remember him being integral for Peterborough at the Lane last year and they were one of the better sides we played. Not sure I’d see him as a direct replacement for Coutts.

He’s an odd character though. He’s VERY religious (look at his Twitter account) and comes across as an absolute arsehole. Not sure he’d pass CW’s character integration requirements (copyrighted as of now as CIR).

I remember that. At the time I assumed it was because he’s a southern kid and didnt want to come north of Watford Gap. But then he signed for the Dingles- so yeah, its probably because Wilder thought he was a bit of a bell end.
