Good deal all round be some more money in for us to spend on players........

I like George but returning to play for us would be like walking into the Colosseum to face the lions. He is probably better off out of it.
I would've kept him around the place especially if we're selling Moore.
Having Eastwood as backup to a (albeit very promising) keeper who's never actually played in the championship before fills me with dread. At least George has plenty of games under his belt.

We'll definitely need to sign a replacement for them

Anyone know what the fee is likely to be? Like Reed, CW justified in offering him a contract

Don't think Moore will be leaving now, WBA signed a keeper yesterday so maybe that's done with now.

George Long has signed for Hull, just waiting for it to be official. Wonder how much hesh gone for? Apologies if someone has already said this.

I wouldn’t have thought it would be much. I personally think he’d have been better suited heading to a L1 team as first-choice, but I can understand why he’d want to rejoin a manager that wasn’t afraid to play him.

This would appear to go very much against the view of a chunk of our fanbase that he was shit and when he left he’d be heading to League 2 at best.

GLTTL.

Descriptive of the vast majority of his career performances or descriptive of his time at United?

You didn't answer my question either, by the way: is your vitriol aimed exclusively at academy graduates or is no player safe?

Best not to feed the troll.

I know your not Pinchy's spokesperson, but you seemed slightly surprised when I claimed the other day that when Pinchy is asked a challenging question, he ignores it. Here's an example:

Not expecting you to do anything obviously, just thought I would provide an example to back up my claim.

Another example of your lack of class.

Do you think of derogatory nicknames for all Sheff Utd players you dont like, or just the one's that come through the academy?
"Runaround" for Matty Done suggests it's not limited to academy graduates. Don't know whether that's a good or bad thing.

He's seen the success that big Harry Maguire got from going to 'Ull so it makes logical sense.
George Long in the WC in Qatar in 4.5 years time

There’s also Shaky Jakey, but I forget whether that’s for the man himself, or for those that think he’s a useful part of the squad. Perhaps file under “Miscellaneous”

Good luck to him, doesn't deserve some of the vitriol our idiot fans have given him and did very well for Wimbledon last year.

I'm stuck between wanting him to a revelation and wanting Hull to finish bottom with 2 points and a -199 goal difference because of saturday-tuesday-saturday-tuesday.

Genuine GLTTL. I just hope we've got a good sell on clause. I expect we will have sacrificed a big part of the fee for such a clause.

He was right about Done to be fair. Appalling player.
