Any striker who can put the chances awayDidn’t realise he was out for a few weeks after an injury in pre season. I’d still consider it on a permanent basis.
And his dad’s a to$$er!Purely for shithousery it would be amusing. But when looking at his goal record, it’s not particularly impressive at all.
He's really not. Decent bloke is Hirst snr.And his dad’s a to$$er!

Sheridan was one of the finest midfielders I have ever seenSheridan once dropped Palmer in the Devonshire Arms for being an arrogant cock.

Always liked it that they got a corner in the 2-0 game and it blatantly wasn’t so he just passed the ball out of play for a goal kick.Sheridan was one of the finest midfielders I have ever seen
Where was that mate?A lot of the early 1990s Wednesday players used to drink in the bar where I worked and would stay for lock-ins. Woods and Hirst were both very down to earth and polite, but most of the others were exactly what you'd expect.

Agreed, see him in the pub every now and then, nice friendly bloke. He's really not. Decent bloke is Hirst snr.
I concur from a few interactions while on night outs back then. Hurst, Woods and Sheridan (before he'd had a few) were all down to earth and pleasant. Palmer was / is exactly the big timer you'd expect him to be. Warhurst was another tool from that squad - unbelievable and more impressive than Hurst in training though! Tricky Trev was an arrogant sod, as was Howard Wilkinson. The least pleasant of all though was Nigel Pearson - a full weighter!A lot of the early 1990s Wednesday players used to drink in the bar where I worked and would stay for lock-ins.
