I fucking love him. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a Londoner who has been brought up as a Blade but I just can’t help but feel a kindred spirit with someone from the south who just embraces everything there is about Sheffield United. He’s definitely in my top favourite players of all time.

Dragged the entire side 30 yards up the pitch tonight, got the crowd into it and stopped WBA dead in their tracks down his side.

Wondrous.

He body slammed West Brom quite literally.

So much respect for this man

Knew he could 100% be relied on to come back in and perform when it matters. He's been a major catalyst

Said it before, but he epitomises why we're getting promoted

We’ve (the royal forum “we”) talked about how bringing him back in would shore us up defensively, which it did, at a crucial time.

We’ve talked about his end product which has often been poor.

We’ve recently talked about his controlled aggression and how he always manages to get away with a yellow or less…

Last night, as you say, we made a very significant change from first half. Instead of getting the ball down the left for Lowe, we brought George and Anel in and George just terrorised them down the right.

Probably the most Baldock performance we’ve seen. Aggressive, in the faces of WBA (and the Lino), targeting Gardner-Hickman who seemed to play their hardman/ knobhead role and he got forward and got at them.

Fans singing to him at the end whilst he was chatting with some kids and he looked up and genuinely seemed touched by it.

Saw him for MK Dons years ago against us,he looked a player then. Love the guys attitude, professionalism and how he goes about his job, typifies a blades hero, same as Bash.

Character, positionally and tactically sound, competitor, as feisty and as furious as they come, and a proper, proper athlete. Elevated his levels this season to become a real leader and elder statesman of the group. We've needed him, and his return to form coincided with our return to form and getting over the line. ❤️⚔️

It's not just from a defensive point of view. I think Baldock adds a competitive presence on the pitch and regardless of size, his terrier attitude has opposition players rushing decisions etc.

He is passionate, competitive and in my opinion deserves a starting place over Bogle at the moment. Especially at this business end of the season.

Have to bump myself here. Definitely rang true and in last night's game, more evident than ever. What a player.

Just watching the Behind the Blades from the WBA game.

The passion and heart shown by George Baldock that night was outstanding. He's got so much fight in him it's unreal.
What a huge impact he's had on our run-in.
I've been guilty of underrating him myself at times but he's been an absolutely brilliant player for us.
Seems a top lad in all of his interviews too.

Hope we can get onto sorting new deals out for our better players asap as he's one to keep around.

Furious used to regularly take his man in to the byline, didn't he? I'm not dreaming that, am I?

He seems really reluctant to do so this season. Happy to run in behind but not go one on one on the outside.

"When we're at our best, world class players know they've been in a game know they've had to work hard and in recent weeks they haven't."

Couldn't have put it better myself

Paraphrasing one of Wilders quotes, "Whenever a team plays against Sheffield United they should always come off the field knowing they've been in a real battle"

For all Wilders faults he knew how to sign a leader. The board have gone down the route of young with potential & unfortunately within that tactic you’re not signing leaders.

You could say Souza is but he can hardly speak English yet.

They all have this season. Sadly this season it’s been the Battle of M’boto Gorge, and the Blades have been the Watutsi warriors armed to the teeth with kiwi fruit and dry guava halves.
