Watching them with George's shirt yesterday, and seeing how much it meant to them, it brought a tear to my eye, and brought to mind a favourite line from a song that I often have in my head. It's by a German singer, from a song dedicated to his wife who passed on, tragically young.
The line is: 'Ich trag' dich bei mir, bis der Vorhang fällt.'
It means: 'I'll carry you with me, until the curtain comes down.'
That's what they were doing on the pitch yesterday after the match - it wasn't just his shirt they were carrying with them, it was George too.

That's Sheffield United - carrying George with us, until the curtain comes down.
