Back to George for a mo. The last I read was that toxicology tests might have taken some months. Any further news insomuch did the poor lad have an undiagnosed heart defect/condition?
I think after the point it got to waiting for those results, it becomes even more private. The police will inform the family and that's it.
I can't imagine the family would make any more info public, unless they felt there was some advantage, like a health condition people should watch out for. I think we won't hear any more now.

Well that was my hidden point. If it was say an underlying heart condition does that mean we still as a society cant identify this in top level athletes/footballers. There has been enough issues eh?

If it was, and the family want to highlight the potential issue for others, then they could. But I wouldn't expect to hear any more now.

Funny you posted this yesterday for some reason he was on my mind a lot yesterday. Strange

Maybe the reason for that is because the first game after his tragic death was against Leeds away quickly followed by Boro away two games where we didn't do ourselves justice. Hopefully we can put that right on Monday night

If the team all go out and play with George's fighting spirit on Monday 3 points will be in the bag🤞

Must admit don't like this version, she has a nice voice but the way she sings the swear word just spoils it. The young lad that sang it at the ground was much better

George’s birthday today and not a peep out of the useless stadium announcer 😡… is he even a Blade this bloke standing in on The PA?

I doubt Garry Sinclair would have let it pass unmentioned. Hurry back Garry.

He didn't even announce Hecky's name before reading the Preston team out, who I thought at least deserved a round of applause from our fans before the game.

Indeed I was expecting us to do that after all we did it when Wilder brought Boro back to the Lane..

Not many managers get us promoted to the Premier League and I think he deserved to be shown some respect today.

I have often knocked Gary Sinclair in the past but it's only til someone stands in for him you realise he is rather good at what he does.

I had no idea what the clapping was for

Same, I obviously worked out it was Baldock when his song was sang, but didn’t know why 32 until I opened this thread.

To be honest, for the clapping tributes during the match I have no idea the reason the majority of the time.

To be fair I think Hecky did get some spontaneous applause when he appeared on the touchline and he showed his appreciation to the South Stand. Sadly I didn't know what the 32nd minute applause was about - and wasn't there some applause in the first 5 minutes? It's a shame when a lot of people have no idea what the applause is about.

32nd minute?

That was for Baldock as his 32nd Birthday would have been tomorrow, Brewster (and i think Brooks) were carrying the GB banner at full time.
Brewster got it from someone on the Kop behind the goal. I think it may have been Peck holding it with him at full time. Lovely gesture.
