So after the euphoria if the last month or so things are beginning to settle down now. What I'd like to know I this. Where do fellow blades think we'll be in the next 3-5 years. After the season we've had I think everyone feels on an upward trajectory with the club. However No wild, pie in the sky predictions but genuine where could we be. Not just in terms of what league level but with stadium developments, academy, player prospects etc. Like I said keep it real.
40,000 seater stadium. Top 10 Premiership place. A Cup win under our belts - be it FA or League Cup. Under Chinese ownership.

The next 3 to 5 years will IMO be set out and determined by what happens next season . It will set the benchmark for our progression moving forward . The simple name of the game is to not get relegated .

You can look too far in front of yourself in football . To me it's a season at a time . Also it depends on who is the chairman and manager .

The Tories and Labour leaders just read this post and asked if you're available to answer their questions leading up to the election?!

I do feel, despite people's reservations, that if we aren't in the PL in ten years time then we never will be and the age of McCabe will be judged negatively. I'd like also to see us lift some significant silverware before I meet Mr Mayhem.

I'd lose sleep over the Huddersfield wingers running at our wing-backs... well I would but we won't be playing against their wingers :)

Sorry, I thought they were slow of thought and execution.

My dream is to see us one day play in proper European Competition, either in the Europa League or the Champions League.

However, realistically, I think we'll still be in the Championship but hopefully challenging for the play-offs at least. It would also be good if we finally gave the kop a makeover and got rid of those posts.

Although it's difficult to think about it now, it's highly unlikely that Wilder will still be manager in 3 years, let alone 5 years.

We'll begin the 2022/23 season in the "Facebook MegaBucks Northern Division 2" with Neil Warnock having returned for "one last go at management".
Relegated the previous season from the "Aviva remember the NHS suckers Global Division 1" alongside Smirnoff Bournemouth, Chris Morgan was sacked, having failed to get the bonus point required for "artistic effort whilst gaining a penalty" in the last minute against Aldi Panthers (formerly Liverpool) when the countries top referee, Trevor Kettle, actually sent off Jordan Slew for not putting enough effort into the dive. The 15 points to 14 loss was enough to see the club demoted from the top flight after just two semesters. The clubs owners, Root Brothers, decided not to pay the 5 Trillion Trumps to negate the relegation and will take their chances in the lower league for now.
Wayne Rooney has been appointed NW's assistant as he's always wanted to live in Sheffield since he saw the fat lasses from City Sauna on C4 a few years back and decided to join the Blades ahead of "Primark fuck you and your slave labour laws Division 4" rivals Chansi Tuna Chunks.
