Rumour has it that Derby midfielder Gary Teale could be winging his way to the Lane, either as a £1.3m signing, or as part of a swap deal involving either Michael Tonge or Jon Stead - both players who Derby County have shown an interest in.

Apparently Craig Brown, Derby's Football Consultant was in attendance at the Chesterfield match on Tuesday, in which Stead scored a brace.

Could this be the Premiership midfielder that Robbo's mentioned?

Yes, although judging whether a player is better or worse than another is down to personal opinion, there is no way on earth that Teale is better than Tonge or Stead and would therefore go against Robbo's ideal.
