Will never forget that game. We got mullered for almost all the game yet somehow managed to keep the score at 0-0 then up pops Taylor on about the 80th min with an absolute belter of a goal to win it for usI used to really like him as a player. That volley he scored against Forest will live long in the memory.

).
Was a brilliant strike (and yes to Bassett):
As someone who follows the WSL the timing of Taylor's sacking here is a bit surprising - they're in a cup final this weekend (!) and seems odd to move on from him now with not long until the end of the season. From the outside I think he's done a pretty good job but I can understand that they want to try and find a manager to take them to the next level and properly challenge Chelsea, especially given how much City invest in their women's team. He does seem to be a well respected coach in the women's game though, a lot of journos who cover the WSL seemed surprised at the move.
Was that the game where he thought he was being sold and ran round the ground at the end waving his shirt and waving to the crowd or am I confusing it with a different game? Will never forget that game. Yes, you are confusing it with a different game. Was that the game where he thought he was being sold and ran round the ground at the end waving his shirt and waving to the crowd or am I confusing it with a different game?
Shouldn’t that the short back and offside?Saw him once outside a barbers in Mhell.
He was offside.
Not surprising really at my age.Yes, you are confusing it with a different game.

I’d love to know what happened to his proposed move to Utrecht. The youthful JD thought Taylor could develop into a premier league striker.
Turned out he couldn’t. If anything his touch deteriorated over time.

That was against Charlton after we won 4-1 in December 1997Was that the game where he thought he was being sold and ran round the ground at the end waving his shirt and waving to the crowd or am I confusing it with a different game?

YesDid Mark Bright score for them late on? I seem to recall Kelly wasn't 100% towards the end and couldn't come for a corner or somesuch.
Not sure, for some reason I was sat on the away end and made a quick exit at full time after almost blowing my cover when we scored, so I never saw what happened after the final whistle mateWas that the game where he thought he was being sold and ran round the ground at the end waving his shirt and waving to the crowd or am I confusing it with a different game?
He still owes me a training top, as a youngster i used to ask for it every home game he always said next match, rinse and repeat
Nayoh. Was that the game where he thought he was being sold and ran round the ground at the end waving his shirt and waving to the crowd or am I confusing it with a different game?
Yes. Silentblade already corrected this. I remember now.Nayoh.
