Southgate sat with McCabe at the game yesterday. Probably there for Henderson but having a quick look at O'Connell surely?

McCabe promising a cut of the O’Connell money if he gives him a cap.

Isn't he big mates with McCabe ?
Seem to remember he wanted to give him the managers job a while back

McCabe looked to be boring the absolute tits off him.

“....and then, I tell you Gareth, after all that we’ve ended up in the High Court to settle the whole thing. I must be the unluckiest man in football. Have I told you about the Hungarian club I used to own? There’s a funny story about how that all ended. I’d sent my longtime associate Terry Robinson over to look after it. You’ll remember Terry. Anyway, I said to Terry....”

You know Terry, big lad, bald head, gets sacked everywhere he goes.

Someone must have a picture of the two of them to go along with this gold.

There's also a couple of pics of him (and United) from the Yorkshire Regiment page awarding the Yorkshire Cup

Was the prince at the game, surely he could have made his third game a premiership one?

I guessed he was there to watch Townsend. I'm surprised he hasn't had a callup yet by Southgate. But, probably left unimpressed with him yesterday :p

Hopefully Baldock and JOC have caught his eye.

I've heard he's signed up program guy, to run the channels at Wembley, for all England home games, where programs will be 3 quid.
