It is a joy to see a blades team that actually seem to be working to a game plan and have players intelligent enough and disciplined enough to play to that plan.
Not only that we have a manager that seems willing and able to change and adapt that plan during a game and able to communicate that plan to the players
Seen us change formation at least twice this afternoon
Moving Fleck out left snuffed out the danger coming down that side in the last quarter of the game. What an immense player he was again today
I was about ready to give up my season ticket so fed up was I of seeing a United side with no game plan just eleven individuals running around like headless chickens
I am confident with wilder we can go from strength to strength

It was fascinating watching the instructions being passed round & players moving into different positions.

Moving Basham up into midfield worked very well - we were getting given a bit of a runaround for twenty/twenty-five minutes before that. He seemed to be given an almost man-for-man marking job on Potter who'd been running things & it worked.

Like you say, it wasn't the only time the chess pieces were moved round the board too. Fleck was brilliant defensively on the left in the latter stages.

Reckon Knill plays a big roll in all this too, along with Wilder.

Totally agree with this. Great to see that Wilder and the players have shown the adaptability to change to suit different circumstances. Under previous manaegers everything looked rigid, safe and predictable. Players are expressing themselves now, and showing they have the intelligence to switch their style of play.

Great to see players wanting the ball, definitely not wanting to loose a game of football, talking to each other during the game, something we didn't see last year. So, so many positives after especially last year's utter rubbish. Top class management.Long may it continue. Onwards and upwards..............
