Frustrating not to pull away when Burnley dropped points. Bristol City have to visit Turf Moor and Burnley also have to go to Coventry, so they have some tough games coming up.

Egan-Riley's red card will be downgraded to Yellow, i'm sure
Agreed - it was a stupid kick out - but never a red card. Ref just look like he lost it at the end from the Sky clip. So yes I agree that Egan-Riley's red will be downgraded to a yellow - but Parker's red will still stand as i think he will have said something - so EFL will want to protect the ref a bit.

If only the EFL were in charge of disciplinary matters.....

If it was a deliberate kick out it’s a red card, the amount of force doesn’t matter. I think it will be upheld.
I think it will be upheld. There was contact, they will support the ref. In cases like this it's irrelevant if 95% of refs wouldn't give it - they will support the ref's opinion unless he is 100% wrong.

How often have you had Gavin Ward reffing you this season? This is the fourth time we have had to suffer him, and it's just not fair. I know there are a lot of bad refs around, but this one just isn't competent. He has no idea of what's a foul, he just gives them whenever anyone falls over and asks for it, and he misses obvious, simple things such as players moving the ball to a better position at a free kick while the ref is moving the ball back. He's supposed to have a spray to help and he still can't do it. I'm sure that whatever Parker said to him was accurate, even though he shouldn't have said it.

It's not all his fault. He's doing what the PGMOL tell him to, no doubt.

My Burnley mate told me this morning he prefers Foster up front rather than Flemming. Agree?

There are faults on both sides! Actually, I'd like to see both, but I presume Parker thinks there is too much of a risk of conceding a goal that way.

Foster went off injured last night, tried to play on but couldn't really walk properly, let alone run. Might be just a dead leg, though, with luck.
