Long time reader, but first time poster on here. I promise to try my hardest not to make spelling mistakes, or to say "would of".

So, I was destined to miss the above match, as I'll be in Auckland, New Zealand for that weekend, and now it's been moved to the Monday night, on Sky, I was hoping that there may be some fellows contributors on here, from that part of the world, who can tell me if it will be possible to watch the game somewhere, at 8.45 on the Tuesday morning somewhere in Auckland.

I will be down under with a few fellow Blades, so it would be good if we could find a place, possibly a hostelry that does a decent breakfast too, to cheer the team on, hopefully in the company of more fellow Blades.

We can probably watch it on Sky Go, on tablets, but would prefer, if possible a bigger screen, and atmosphere.

Thanks in advance

We're gonna lose. Everything has gone to shit since Madine put a gypsy curse on us.

I think it is, not 100% sure how but my brother in law lives in Melbourne and i am sure he gets up to watch the blades when they are on Sky, I think its Fox sports there.
I know you are in New Zealand but should be the same. Not sure if its subscription though.

Welcome Killy - glad you wont say "would of" or "could of" although the spelling mistakes are sometimes typos if my posts are anything to go by and not because I cant spell (went to a grammar school !)

It should be available I have a piggy mate living there and they all get up and watch it. Think he lives near Wellington.

P.s Welcome. All my spelling is down to my Samsung S9 thinking it can spell better than me.

Thanks for not writing " should of ". Could you also try not to write " so" at the start of paragraphs. Hip and trendy speech winds me up. So....

Ps Please tell me you're not 70 and writing "so" ?

So. Not sure where Auckland is but if it's within driving distance of Chapel St. Leonards, I'll be happy to sign you into the clubhouse to watch it over a couple of tins of Skagbrew.

I have a friend who has just moved back to Auckland, I’ll ask her and let you know. She’s not a Blade and I’m not sure if she likes football very much but she lives in Auckland so it’s a start.

Also, a holiday boast as a first post, you’ll do ok on here.

Pleased to see you posted grammatically correct.

Are chances against the 'dark side' are diminishing with all the negativity around at present.

Your lucky to be out of the country.

From a fellow Blade out in Auckland: “There is a bar in the CBD that will be playing it. It's called The Fox Sporting bar in the Viaduct.”

Thanks Espoo, did a bit of an internet search on the subject, and that came up with The Fox too, and it's looking the favourite at the moment.

As for commas, one of my kids bought me a bag of them for Christmas, so trying to use them up before they go mouldy.....,,,,

You need to reveal if you think Madine is a twat or the saviour before I commit to a response

Why have you started your second paragraph with “so”?
