Oooooh, the worst thing about losing nowadays is threads like this. Some of you can..not..wait!!
We lost by one goal, away from home against a top 10 team.
What do you want to apologise for??
We blew it, it happens. We're on a ONE match losing streak, and these Wilder haters get to annihilate the club for another few days now

Same old, same old. I’d love to be a fly on the wall with his half time team talks. Sheffield United, could fuck up a cup of coffee.☕

Bringing on Barry and Cannon when we are chasing a goal is just negligence. Neither are remotely good enough.

Wilder didn't sign Barry, McGuinness, Ogbene, Tanganga, Ings, etc but he did sign Cannon, who is attrocious, and Mee (or did he?) who just looks a bomb scare alongside McGuinness. He also isn't improving a disgusting defence one little bit as a coach. Even Cooper looks shot compared to last season.

I'll admit i never wanted him back the second time, let alone the third, but do we really trust him to send back the shit loans in January and bring the players we need in? Selles was a huge mistake but it doesn't mean that sacking Wilder was a mistake.

It's a terrible league this season and there are enough poor teams for us to stay up. If it wasn't for O'Hare, Peck and Campbell we'd be worse than Wednesday imo.

Hopefully he'll get us safe and then we can sack him but the real culprits of this mess are the recruitment team/set up. They need to be out the door now!

After being 2 up. Or have you forgot that?

This is the sort of fan that got Wilder back!

Not sure what the HT team talk was but it didn't work
It probably went something like this:

"Keep it up lads, I set Hecky on as a youth coach, he's inferior to me so don't worry"
"Sydie, keep it up son, 100% you are in Tuchel's final squad for the next World cup"
"Coops, you are the best keeper in the division, keep line hogging and don't worry about narrowing the angles son"
"Don't worry if you throw it away in a fucking garbage 2nd half - we will stop off at an off licence on the way home and get pissed"
"It's all Selles's fault anyway"
"If we lose I'll offer their fans out"

Phew, l thought Wilder was going to accept at least some blame, but no, all the players fault.

Where were his man management skills after the 46th minute goal for Preston? It really can’t be a surprise to him, his coaching staff or players how Heckys side would come out for the second half.

We’ve seen this before.

We blew it after being 2-0 up against a squad worth about 10% of ours, a manager that wasn't good enough for us, a centre midfielder that wasn't good enough for us, and a winning goal from a striker that no one wanted.

Preston won 10 games last season, we won 28.

Wilder should be thoroughly embarrassed about tonight. I'm not going to listen to his post match crap because he'll have done everything right and Cannon was just unlucky to get ONE touch after he came on.

Not wilders fault the players became retarded for 20 mins. All three goals were totally avoidable. The only issue I had with wilder tonight was keeping riedewald on for so long when he was clearly knackered- particularly when his replacement soumare looked more than capable.

Sure i heard the pundit on sky say it was the first time in 13 years we have blown a 2-0 lead and lost. If true then maybe that's why it hurts. We aint used to it.

“PlayStation manager” “the boys are hurting” “we did enough to win the game”

The last two are my wilder bingo choices!
I knew the "left scratching our heads" line was going to make an appearance.

No wonder he's got that sunroof getting bigger on the top of his head, with the amount of times he tells us he's left scratching it!

I’ll say this against Wilder: at halftime he had one job—get the players in the right mindset in a challenging situation. We’ve dominated, they’ve hardly threatened and then on the stroke of halftime they’re back in it. This is where a manager earns his wages.

Well we rolled over and for half an hour played as badly as we have all season. Job not done by Wilder.

But the bits before and after count as well, despite the result. He’s got COH and Campbell playing well, we look miles better in attack overall.

His next job is making sure confidence doesn’t drop and we continue this little bit of momentum we’ve built up.
