The board have given him his head and thus season we have come up short, made some bad signings and have an unbalanced squad.

sure they talking to CW about giving him some help, he may consider it as taking control away from him but we are a proper football business and must be run as such not as a pub team where one guy makes all the decisions.
Ultimate decision re signings etc has to be with him but he needs more help snd has to accept it

It’s puzzled me why the LMA have been involved in “mediation” for some time.

I have to ask why ?

CW doesn’t strike me as a guy that isn’t anything other than an “I’ll fight my own battles” type.

So the cynic in me suggests that the LMA have been brought in as a material “witness” in case of any split that turns acrimonious. As evidence for a possible case of “constructive” dismissal.

More than interesting that it was “mutual consent” in the end !!!
