One goal this year and that was a deflection his scoring record in general as a striker is pathetic.
Even decent players never mind great do the above on regular basis.

How many starts has he had this season compared to our other strikers ? I think he's shown more for us than Robinson has for West Brom so I think CW has made the better move.

He also scored in the FA Cup. It disproves your point that he ‘can’t score’. Your other points have also been seen to be incorrect.

I agree he’s not the best player to have ever graced the Premier League but he has his uses and he’s certainly made some positive contributions, regardless of how few these have been (and it’s not like any our other players have made many more). There’s a reason why we were able to get him for free.

One other thing to remember is that he’s still only a young lad and he’s never really been given time to settle anywhere. Maybe if we give him that opportunity he would show some marked improvements.

Bang out of line, he is the one player in our squad who genuinely scares other defences. He's made players like David Luiz, Wijnaldum and other top class PL players look like right fools on the footy pitch.

Besides we need him to play so Roygbiv can keep doing his Ali G knuckle raps when Burke pulls down one of those high balls over his shoulder and takes it effortlessly in his stride!!!
