... for ST holders. LINKY (Scroll to the bottom of the link... it's BRAMALL!)

The World’s First Football Club, Sheffield FC would like to offer FREE ENTRY to all Blades Season Ticket Holders for the club’s first two home games at The Bright Finance Stadium. Their first game kicks off on Tuesday 19th August against Carlton Town (kick off 7.45pm) followed by the visit of Quorn FC on Saturday 23rd August (kick off 3pm).

Next weeks games see the start of Sheffield FC’s Unibond Division One South Campaign, where the famous non league club will be looking to better last seasons 4th place finish. Sheffield FC reached the play off final last May, however, suffered the agony of losing on penalties to Nantwich Town in the final.

The Bright Finance Stadium, the home of Sheffield FC, is now where the Blades Reserve games will take place this season and is a lovely enclosed 2000 capacity stadium, with an excellent playing surface, a seated stand and with a friendly set of supporters. The Coach and Horses Pub on the ground serves excellent food and drink for before, at half time and after the match.

Sheffield FC ‘s home matches are played on alternative Saturdays to the Blades, so all Blades fans could make them their second favourite team and help The World’s First Football Club continue to flourish.

To gain FREE ENTRY to these matches, Blades Season Ticket Holders just need to display their Blades Season Ticket card at the Sheffield FC turnstiles.

For further details of Sheffield FC and directions to the Stadium, please visit the clubs informative website www.sheffieldfc.com

just thinking whats to stop someone (like me!) who still has last years st card thats not been renewed showing it at reserve games?

I would expect nowt, if you want to do them out of money.

I think I'll be at Stocksbridge and Blackpool for these two :)

Oooh, the visit of Quorn FC. Is that Quorn in Leicestershire, or Quorn, the official Works XI of the lesbian food (it's a meat substitute) making company?
Either way I think I'll be in the company of Mr Stelling and several retired footballers.

Ended up being Hillsborough, but did anyone go tonight?

Wanted to, but I ended up cooking food for the tribe, so couldn't. My Blackpool plan was scuppered weeks ago, so may well be in Dronny on Saturday.

For the anoraks, Club drew 2-2 with Carlton Town, with Vill Powell putting them one up (one of my mates was at school with him), and former league player Scott Partridge getting a late equaliser, in front of a crowd of 480.

Quite a healthy attendance really. In fact higher than anyone else in that league apart from that at Cammell Laird (a division higher), which was probably swelled by the fact that that they were playing FC United of Manchester, and the match at Trafford FC, which involved FC Halifax Town swelled by the fact it's all the poor buggers in Halifax have left.
