It's gone from a game that Derby never looked like winning after the 19th second into one that they have won thanks to incredible stupidity and lack of professionalism

It's only one defeat
We're still third
We can't win them all.
I'm a pig

Typical comments that will come from the apologists who will accept that second half performance

They sat back happy enough with a point and the evidence was there immediately after equalising in the 41st minute.
As bad as Derby were in the first half they could have gone in 3-1 up during that last four minutes after we equalised, we could only hope that the second half would see us get back to our normal selves.

This team cannot defend when they haven't got the ball, they can only play when they have the ball.
The amount of times we've conceded goals by just allowing the other team to have the ball is astonishing.

Freeman and Stevens are redundant without the ball because they can't get forward, and they certainly can't defend. So the only way to win is to continue keep the pressure on, even in games we are winning two or three nil. Because if this team relaxes even at 2-0 up, it won't finish 2-0

We'll have none of that sort of honesty on here thank you. We're plucky little Sheffield United punching above our weight with a budget lower than a pigfans iq. How dare you express a desire and a demand we execute a professional 90 minute game management requirement and think we could seriously look to maintain a season long tilt at winning the league. Pack it in.

You forgot to say......PIG !!! LOL

It was a terrible second half. Quite embarrassing that we played like that on TV. It was similar to the Bristol City game but worse.

Another decent side and we've lost. We are hugely overachieving and whilst we are usually very good to watch I don't think we have enough know-how and quality to really be challenging at the end of the season .

That second half was shocking. Top 5 as bad as we've been in the Championship under Wilder in my opinion, and we were very good in the first.

Don't know what's going to happen later on in the season but we need to get our shit together tactically. The "non committal, concede, kitchen sink, lose" has to disappear if we want to have a chance.

We know what works, keep doing it. If players can't keep doing it, get players in and on the bench that can take over.

Banquets worth of food for thought tonight for Wilder.

You can't concede in the first 20 fucking seconds away at any half decent side and expect to win. It's always highly likely that you'll have to score at least 3 to do so. So we were fucked before we even started.

Yet we should've gone in at half time ahead - we dominated. And Marriott's goal (had to be him or Waghorn didn't it FFS) should've just been the equaliser.

We did enough to get at least a point, but away to decent sides we've got to do more. We've got to be much better than what we produced in the second half. I don't think I've ever seen this team allow the opposition any significant spell in a game without conceding. It's ridiculous. I was hoping we were saving a bit in the tank the finish the game strongly.... nope!

Today highlighted where we still need to strengthen. We can't keep surrendering games by taking Duffy off. And we need someone of reasonable quality up top who can fucking run.

But for now, get 2 wins from the 2 upcoming home games and today will be totally insignificant.

We're 2nd

We're 2nd

Yes,
Should have been top though.
Derby were there for the taking, couldn't live with us first half

We started in our shell's and didn't touch the ball, didn't get a tackle in, didn't cover a runner, didn't mark a player, and didn't make a challenge. After 19 seconds the ball was in our net and that changed our game plan. As soon as we got level, and I mean IMMEDIATELY we went back into our shells again and didn't come out of it.
If they'd not scored so early we'd have played 90 minutes for the draw, because that was the game plan.

You'd think all of the dozy cunts would learn. WE CANNOT DEFEND

One good thing that's come from tonight's result. I can wash my lucky pants, they were getting a bit ripe, every match day since Preston.

Disappointing to lose as it was an entertaining game between 2 good teams. That really couldve gone any way. Felt we deserved a point after what brilliant 1st half. Where we were by far the better team. Then for some reason. we dropped that attacking intensity 2nd half, sloppy in possession & i felt that defence always on the edge capable of a mistake. All of that meant we let derby mount that pressure & you cant let that quality do that without punishment. As you dont go to Old Trafford & win deservedly without being good side.

I thought wilder was correct again in interview, we've got to get better in major moments. Hindsight that 1st 18secs cost us as we effectively gave them a goal headstart. & I feel a major weakness is appearing that we have no back up strikers. When we rest mcgoldrick & sharp. We have nothing

I put some facebook idiots in their place who were more like allardyce than guardiola. Who had a go at me when i said that these mistakes where we go to sleep. Better teams wont allow us back in the game so easy v millwall. Who wouldve thought they are very quiet now
