This is the problem, we could lose this game as easy as owt
And I'll be fucking fuming because we've stopped doing everything we were doing from the second we equalised.

Then I'll be told I'm a pig by some moron
TOLD YA 2 FUCKING 1

Equalised and fucking stopped

This is why we shouldn't sit off

Fuck's sake

Comms just said Wilder had said he'd play for the draw if it was there at 75 minutes, looks like it and it's not pissing worked.

Terrible second half.

They've got a bit too much pace and movement for us at the minute

Absolutely asleep this half.

Unbelievable how we’ve been all over them first half then just sitting back second half.

What did they put in the tea at half time?

If there's one thing I wouldn't bet on it's United not conceding.

Not over yet though. Come on Blades, get that point back.

I hope I eat my words here, but we have 2 strikers who have done nothing this season and took Billy off!!

The players didn't give a shit in the second half and we got what we deserved. Fuck all.

Derby look a decent team and it could have gone either way. I'd have taken a draw once we equalised but it wasnt to be. Tight margins in this league and i thought we looked decent on the whole, I'm not worried.

Onwards to Tuesday.

Thank god for someone with a sensible veiw
We are sat in second with one of the cheapest assembled squads in this division
In can only happen in blades land

We looked absolutely knackered second half. Freeman and Stevens were blowing out of their arses. Our wing backs are so important to how we play, hence a poor second half showing.

Bad day at the office for Wilder I'm afraid. Got everything right in the first half and then threw it away in the second.

The players wouldn't come out like that in the second half if they hadn't been told to by the management. Sat far too deep with the wing backs making hardly any forward runs. Sitting back just does not suit this team.

Bringing on Coutts was another mistake. He is just not ready for a game of this magnitude and it completely passed him by. Duffy wasn't having his best game but we lost all attacking intent when he went off and lost the ball far too easily. Taking Billy off when he was constantly making excellent runs and getting in excellent positions and replacing him with a striker that is yet to score this season was also a mistake.

With better final balls / crosses in the first half we should have been 3 up by half time but to setup and play like that in the second was just plain daft.

Not happy with that. Such a tale of two halves. We sat off, let them play. We're useless at that. We need to keep attacking teams. I appreciate we can't keep up the tempo but to go from that first half to that lack of Endeavour in the second is unacceptable.

They nicked it with a good goal although we kinda invited it.
Shame we couldn’t get that equalizer - came close once we woke up.
Like everybody else I’m already sick of hearing about Fat Frank and his “Premier League starlets” though.

Fell asleep on both goals , can’t understand why we took our foot off the gas 2nd half as they didn’t change anything tactically ?
We created a lot of good positions wide and then shied off put the cross in , when they did the same which was a lot less than we did they got the bell in the box & got the rewards of it

Derby have some tidy players. Particularly the ones they don't actually own.

Norwood seemed a bit off today, but general sloppiness from a few players has made it difficult. It's now painfully obvious we have no backup for Duffy, and Coutts is still very rusty (at least I hope it's just rustiness and he hasn't lost too much ability while he's been out).

The only positive I can take from this is that we were due a defeat, we've got it out of the way, now we have three games to get some momentum and to solidify before the derby.

To rub salt into it they scored by their striker running in behind our defenders just like Billy had been doing, only difference was the quality of the ball in.

It's gone from a game that Derby never looked like winning after the 19th second into one that they have won thanks to incredible stupidity and lack of professionalism

It's only one defeat
We're still third
We can't win them all.
I'm a pig

Typical comments that will come from the apologists who will accept that second half performance

They sat back happy enough with a point and the evidence was there immediately after equalising in the 41st minute.
As bad as Derby were in the first half they could have gone in 3-1 up during that last four minutes after we equalised, we could only hope that the second half would see us get back to our normal selves.

This team cannot defend when they haven't got the ball, they can only play when they have the ball.
The amount of times we've conceded goals by just allowing the other team to have the ball is astonishing.

Freeman and Stevens are redundant without the ball because they can't get forward, and they certainly can't defend. So the only way to win is to continue keep the pressure on, even in games we are winning two or three nil. Because if this team relaxes even at 2-0 up, it won't finish 2-0

Didn’t see first half, didn’t get in from work until 6:30. Listening to the radio we sounded like we were battering them in the first half then when I sat down to the watch the second half I just couldn’t believe that this was the same team.

I’m not being overly negative as I think derby are a good side with some really good championship players so the result is not anything to be ashamed of it’s just the manner in which we just didn’t bother in the 2nd half that disappoints me.

Think we need to just remember where we’re at and the level of investment some of our competitors have at their disposal, no knew-jerk reactions to one result as the future is still looking pretty good.

UTB

That was pitiful.

We may have been top going into the weekend, but I doubt there's a team in the entire Championship that played as badly today as we did in that second half.

As my brother pointed out, McGoldrick was our best defender. Which say a lot about both ends of the pitch.

Still, we've looked awful before this season, we'll bounce back. Our record away at good sides is so poor though.

Disappointing second half, never got close to them, but we move on to the Stoke game.
