If we aren't paying Billy what he wants then sure as eggs are eggs we won't be this lad either.

Nothing to see here....move along

Can't see how signing a player like Campbell who'd want big wages fits in with what we are trying to do.

Can't see it - but would be a different option for sure

Maybe he wants to get his career on track again and is prepared to take lower wages to go to the club he thinks is best placed to help him do that.

I know, unlikely. But if that was the case, you could see why Wilder would be interested.

Hmmmm, maybe?

A Manyoo trainee who got too much too young. Taking out his goals on loan in the Belgian Easy-Liga, he has scored 40 goals in 196 appearances over 10 years.

At 29, he is not young but with contracts at Sunderland and Palace he will certainly be expensive. I would guess that his idea of 'lower wages' would be around £25k per week.

Barge pole job for me.

Not really bothered either way. If Wilder signed him then I'd trust him to get it right, if he didn't, meh.

Just want to see us strengthen at the back. At least one CH and a cover keeper.

The majority of those appearances being in the premier league for struggling teams. 46 games and 22 goals at Championship level. I agree that wages will probably be well beyond us, but on the chance that he's available and we're able to pay, he'd be a very good signing for us.

Not for me, not the best goal scorer and living off his time at Man Utd
