Fouling in the penalty box

Who's agreeing it's a penalty! The feeling on here is 6 of one and half a dozen another.
Players are so crafty at doing the pulling including when ref is looking elsware, some of the worst pulling is done no where near the ball as was the case we'd.
Var could make a big difference in the prem with cameras from all angles.
It seems to be the accepted thing now and refs usually ignore it which just fuels the grappling a licence to cheat!

From a personal view I think it wasn't a penalty and having seen the replays, I still can't work out how the referee has come to that conclusion but for me if he gives that he has to also give a red card to the 'boro player for the slap as he is clearly watching it as he is walking around tooting his whistle like Thomas the fecking Tank engine.

For me, it's the inconsistency. We had an attacking corner 5mins before hand and before the corner came in, shirt pulling was going in and the ref stopped the corner being taken and "had a word" with the players involved. We should have been given the same opportunity when defending (i.e. have a warning and then if it carries on, fair enough, penalise Robbo).

Thats what we all want CONSISTENCY . There would be 10 penalties a match has it stands now but all refs turn a blind eye to all the pulling and shoving at corners but all of a sudden a ref points to the spot because BOTH players had got hold of each others shirt . YES it is a foul and it is a penalty but we shall probably have to wait another ten matches before another penalty is awarded for the same offence even though every corner will be subjected to the same pushing and shirt grabbing we saw against Boro . Decisions like that is what get to the supporters because it happens every game without any penalties been given .
