Swiss Barmy Knife certainly wasn’t playing with a full deck. After he finally lost the plot on Unitedite he crossed the line and moved to Owlstalk. He had a huge chip on his shoulder about me as in his book I wasn’t a proper railwayman because I never worked for British Rail, and he used to constantly come out with rambling and boring stuff about his theories, Switzerland, the stock market and non league football in Sussex. I also met him once and I don’t think personal hygiene was a priority of his.......

Horbury Common Bladesman is another proud memener of the alumni of Ecclesfield School. Known him 30 years, he is a science teacher in Doncaster nowadays, I don’t see him very often nowadays, and he is married with kids now. I’m fact it was LS26BLADE and his wife who set him up with his wife a few years ago now.
Does LS26BLADE spend his entire life just trying to set things up?

Who went on the viewpoints match sponsorship?
I went to one match, I think it was against Ipswich after my name was drawn out of a hat. Some of us had paid a few quid each to sponsor the game, I think Greenwich was there along with Sale Blade, (is he still around?).
It was a rottten day weather wise and I had a very heavy cold and struggled to enjoy the occasion.
I was Young’s Special Blade in those days.

Do you remember when it was?
I had a good chat with you on the auspicious occasion of Blades v Pompey at that pub opposite the Law Courts on The Strand. You turned your back when Nick Blackman took the penalty which earned the spoils if I remember correctly.
Hope you're well.

Not bad, thanks. The George, wasn't a bad pub.

Trig Jnr (TY) and I went on one, can't recall exactly when. Our table won the quiz and the prize was a signed copy of Greenwich's book.

That was greeted with shouts of disapproval and "is there a second prize?" either because:-

a) most people already had a copy
b) it's rubbish

or possibly both :-)

Bert knows but ask Trigger Blade

Justoutsidestokeblade was my original VP name at a time when you could have more than one. Trigger Blade started as my own version of eccy road and warnock's box blade, but they were so spectacularly stupid, it was quite difficult to compete, but somehow the name stuck.

The odd new world of the internet, you were there all along but I knew you by a different name.
