This is in General Blades Chat as it is an open invite to all.

For a few years, a number of us have been intermittently meeting on a Sunday morning to have a friendly, "non-competitive" game of football. It started as a way to keep in touch through the close season and carried on.

All age-ranges and abilities are welcome and the cost of the pitches are shared equally between those playing.

This week we'll be playing at Powerleague (Pitz), behind Woodbourne Road Tram Stop (S9 3HL) and the cost will be around £2 each.

So, if anyone is free this coming Sunday morning and fancies a game, this is what you need to know:

Venue: Powerleague (Pitz), behind Woodbourne Road Tram Stop (S9 3HL)

Time: 10:00
Cost: Around £2 each.
What you need: Trainers or astro-turf boots. No studs. Shinpads optional. A sense of humour.

Guests are welcome.

Please yay or nay for definite by Friday night if possible.

RSVP by replying to this thread!

Non-members can express an interest by email to [email protected]

Sunday Lunch at Town Hall Tavern or running around with a load of fat blokes.....?

I'll have a think;)

Me and Large are available - Badger gets back tomorrow so he should be able to play.

I've got a friendly at either 10 or 2, if it's at 2 then I'm good to play, I'll get back to you on that one.

So are we having a game for a change? or are we doing the usual mooch around the supermarket skit ??? ;)

Texting round a few stragglers too, 8 is doable, but a wasted journey if someone doesn't turn up.

So that's 9 if raul is coming. Any more?

Sorry Gents , table booked for 1.30 , next week for me

We should have a game - we've got 8 regulars who will turn up and everyone's itching for a game.

It's up to you lot, we can have a knock about with 8 if you want... will check in the morning!

I'm okay :)
